About Garden Folk Concerts: We have been avid folk music fans and supporters for decades. We have followed, attended, befriended and volunteered within the folk community for many years. We are delighted to support live music in our area and are finally able to share what we love and what has become an integral part of our lives. We are so fortunate to finally have an opportunity to bring some of our favorite singer/songwriters into our community in a small intimate, acoustic, non-smoking setting in Palm Beach County. - Fran and Richard

Take I-95 to Northlake Blvd., East for 1.1 miles. Turn right on Dixie Highway and go .7 miles. At traffic light, stay straight on what becomes Park Avenue. Go .4 miles to theatre on right.

I'm writing to congratulate Fran and Richard for hosting a delightful "kick-off" show at their new concert series in the Palm Beach area, Garden Folk Concerts, at which Delaware singer/songwriter John Flynn performed last evening. As anticipated, John put on a great show! He has a wonderful, warm, and humble stage presence and did a fine job at engaging the audience with his stories and thoughtful lyrics.
About 50 people attended the show, most of whom had never attended--or
even heard of--a concert in small intimate venue before. In polling the audience, they expressed
great pleasure in the experience, with several stating how interesting it was/is
to hear the "stories behind the songs," even though the songs' meanings stand on
their own merit. Indeed, their stated sentiment reflects one of the traditional
benefits of small-venue concerts: the comparative intimacy and personal connection
between performer and audience that one might not feel in a larger concert

are still people in this world who trust others. I think John was a
perfect choice for your inaugural concert.
He's a talented, genuine singer/songwriter. His message of love, tolerance, and
peace really put life into perspective. On so many levels, last evening reminded
me that life is good!
