Booking
Performers
Due to our having a
limited amount of concerts yearly, we only invite
nationally touring singer/songwriters that we
have personally seen and enjoy.
We attend many folk festivals throughout the year and have already established
contacts and friendships.
These are performers who
we know will engage our guests, be an asset to our series, and who our audience
will enjoy, remember and appreciate.
Often headlining performers
are paired with an opener. Othertimes, there may be two equal headline
performers. The headliner(s) will generally perform two 45-minute sets,
with a brief intermission. An opener might perform for 20 - 30 minutes and
be given a fixed fee.
Performers receive 100% of
the ticket and CD sales. The host presenters do not retain any
of the collected funds or any percentage of the CD sales.
We will present 4 concerts during
the winter season: December, January, February, and March.
Generally, they are scheduled on Saturday or Sunday nights.
